HEXCHANGE therefore supplies the UNEX PBG45 as the 1:1 replacement: the port-to-port dimensions are identical (460 × 198 mm) and the G2" male thread connections are the same, so the exchanger connects directly to the existing pipework. Some versions are in stock in our warehouse in Oosterhout (the Netherlands); the other plate counts are quickly available on request. The PBG45 is a brazed plate heat exchanger, built from plates of AISI 316L stainless steel, copper brazed, and available for the L55 from 40 to 120 plates. Always replace with the same plate count: the GEA L55-70 thus becomes the PBG45L-70. The full mapping per type number is shown in the table above.
