The UNEX PBG45 is the 1:1 replacement for the Funke GPL7. The port-to-port dimensions are identical (460 × 198 mm) and the connections are the same G2" male thread, so the PBG45 takes the place of your current GPL7 without any modifications. The existing pipework remains completely untouched; you only swap the exchanger itself. As a brazed plate heat exchanger, the PBG45 is built from plates of AISI 316L stainless steel, copper brazed. The series is available from 30 to 150 plates; when ordering, keep the same plate count as your current exchanger. A Funke GPL 7-44-H-30, for example, is replaced by the PBG45H-44 — the table above shows the correct alternative for each type number. A large share of the versions is in stock in Oosterhout (the Netherlands), so replacement usually does not have to take weeks. Matching insulation can easily be ordered along with it.
